Overview

Dreamflyer is about that weightless, lucid sensation so many of us know from sleep—gliding over rooftops, skimming treetops, drifting higher with calm, rhythmic strokes. Instead of adrenaline and speed, Dreamflyer aims for presence, ease, and flow—part flight sim, part moving meditation.

Why we built it

We wanted to bottle the specific way some dreams feel: you "swim" through the air with slow, smooth breaststroke pulls, and the world responds with effortless lift.

How it works

On mobile, arm sweeps (or small wrist motions) are tracked by device sensors to translate stroke cadence and amplitude into forward glide and gentle climbs. Subtle phone tilts guide heading and pitch. On the web, accessible controls mimic the same stroke‑to‑motion feel. Physics are tuned for dream logic—stable horizons, soft banking, forgiving stalls—so you can relax into the glide without motion sickness.

Feature highlights

  • Optional breath‑to‑lift (mic‑based breathing sync)
  • Guided "flow flights" with ambient soundscapes
  • Free‑flight exploration over stylized landscapes
  • Comfort settings: vignette, horizon lock, etc.
  • Gentle challenges: thermals, rings, cloud currents

Notes

  • Goal: a few minutes of calm, creative escape that genuinely feels like flying—one easy breaststroke at a time.
